April...and some of May
Let's see...what have we been up to the last month or so...
Logan decided he didn't enjoy his learn-to-skate class and that he would rather have Daddy teach him how to skate and play hockey, and that he would like to try something else...He started Tae Kwon Do last week and seemed to really get into it. I don't think I've ever seen such a big smile from him as the smile he gave during and after his class. Hopefully this week he'll get his uniform so I can post some pictures of him throwing punches.
I took down Emi's crib and she is now sleeping in her trundle bed, full-time. She LOVES it. It also frees up alot of space in her room so she enjoys playing in there.

Look at how comfortable she is in her big girl bed...all sprawled out, totally enjoying her newfound space...
We went to visit Dan's side of the family for easter this year. The kids loved it because there were that many more people to play with! And that many more easter celebrations!
Easter egg coloring...fun and messy!
The kids enjoyed going through their easter baskets...Logan looked at each and every item in his basket...Emi saw candy and started inhaling, without even looking to see what her basket contained.
The kids loved the easter egg hunt...
All dressed up and ready in their easter best, to head off to a different church! The church of Aunt Renee/Uncle Brian.
The kiddos on easter...right before we left...looks like a lineup. :)

The kids were able to spend time with their grandma and papa, as well as their cousins twice in April. We went back for easter and the kids went back again 2 weeks later. Whenever all of the cousins are together, we take the opportunity to get an updated picture of all of the kids.
I think the biggest and most exciting part of the last month is the kids new swingset/playground. As of earlier today, its about 99% complete and the kids couldn't be happier...

Its amazing what our yard looked like when we started unloading the boxes...there was wood and parts everywhere...it looked like the project that would never end!
The kids made use of the boxes and played in their forts for a big portion of the time the 'workers' were working. I think they probably would have been happy if the boxes were their new toy!
The kids have a sandbox right under the swingset (along with a table/bench for picnics). Bonus, big time! They spent this morning in the sandbox...couldn't even wait to take their pj's off...and ran right in!
The finished product...the kids spent ALL day outside, today (they even ate their lunch at their table)...and I am sure we'll see many more days outside, now that there is even more to do out there!
