March...and I'm on time for once!
March was an interesting month...full of lots of changes. Mainly the weather...For example, we got about a foot of snow one week...and then about a week later, it was near 70. Then it got cool...then HOT (as in 80s)...then cold again. We never knew quite what to expect, but we went with it... it was an odd winter, thats for sure...
Here are some pictures of the one REAL snow storm we got...and it was pretty short lived. But the kids loved every moment of it (and I have to admit, I got into it too!)...

Gotta test out the snow...tastes like snow? It must be!

The kids had a ball. Tasting snow...building snowmen...

Throwing snowballs...and snow BOULDERS... we rolled in the snow, made snow angels...you name it. We had to get one winter's worth of snow play in, in just one day!

Emi's cousins teach her the art of dress up!!!
The highlight of the month (aside from the snow) is...a little girl turned 2...who?!?! Emi!!!

I threw her a Minnie Mouse birthday party complete with a hord of her Minnie Mouse friends (borrowed from school and friends), a Minnie Mouse cake, matching balloons and other decor, and a few of her friends. She certainly turned 2 in style!

Notice the lack of snow...a week after the snow it was warm enough to ride bikes (Logan did not need his winter coat here, he just took it and ran to simply be outside 'first'). Emi sports her new bike helmet to go with her bike that a friend gave her. She can't pedal or even reach the pedals. But that doesn't stop her from begging to go on bike rides!

Logan gave Emi a scooter for her birthday (thank you consignment sale!). She is so proud to be able to play with Logan as they both go up and down the driveway.

The highlight of being 2, according to Emi, is being able to FINALLY ride facing forward in the car! She can now see Mommy/Daddy and see where we're going! As she says, she's 'a big girl'!

On Emi's actually birthday, we went to Build-a-bear as the kids had a gift card burning a hole in their pockets. Emi surprised us all by bypassing the pink bunnies and bears and going straight for a monkey (she loves monkeys!), which she named Bobo (after her favorite book, 'Hug' about a monkey named Bobo who searches for a hug). She surprised us again by choosing a Red Sox outfit for her monkey instead of the frilly dresses. She sure does love her Bobo. And Logan loves his angry birds. Thank you to Uncle Charlie and Tracy!
