The rest of August...
In August we decided to take the trek up to our 'local' zoo (in the Adirondacks). The zoo is great for our kids ages and has so much to offer without taking an ENTIRE day.
There's an area of the zoo where you can get right in and feed the deer. They'll come right up to you. Logan loved feeding the deer, that is until they started to follow him... Emi was happy to stay in my arms, and as far away as she could, from the deer.
Most of the other animals were caged up ( :( ) but they had their own feeding systems. Here, Emi is able to feed the zebra.
Logan feeds the giraffe, but apparently the giraffe wanted MORE...either that, or the giraffe wanted to KISS Logan! I LOVE the looks on all three of their faces!
The zoo is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day so, til next year!
