Summer Summer Summertime
Happy Summer! We've been enjoying the great outdoors these days.

We had a bbq on Memorial Day this year and invited some of our neighbors. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast running around while the adults got to be adults. The kids loved the sprinkler ball...and well...Emi stayed a safe distance away...

Ice cream time. I thought it was too funny how the kids lined up in 2 lines, facing each other, as they ate their ice cream. Emi enjoyed a cone, too!

Some of the boys relaxed in the hammock...and Emi found a place to relax, too.

The kids got to meet their Uncle Eric for the first time, this summer. That was a treat as he helped us to eat our 3+ dozen oatmeal chocolate chip cranberry cookies. Yum!

We spent a weekend at camp, playing with the cousins. The little guy in the yellow shirt is the newest cousin, Justin. He LOVED watching Logan and grabbing onto his hands. Emi loved swinging with Grandma.

Logan and Aunt Mary were 2 peas in a pod. Aunt Mary rolled up both of their jeans and a splashing they went. What fun! Afterwards, it was time to roast marshmallows for s'mores. YUM!

Dan got up early one day to fish and caught one of the biggest fish in the lake! That got Logan up and wanting to fish, too! Logan did catch a fish but it got away before he could reel it in. Next time, buddy!

Back home the kids enjoy playing with their water table. And getting wet. Very wet.

Emi attempts to mow the grass while watching big brother kicking the ball...once she saw how fun the ball was, she abandoned the lawn mower and went off to find a ball of her own.

When the kids got their tent and tunnel for Christmas, Emi wanted nothing to do with the tunnel...or the tent...so they were put away for a bit. We took them back out, and she LOVES the tunnel, especially. She and Logan have been having a blast climbing through the tunnel, indoors and out!

Uh-oh...it looks as if the paparazzi has found us again...so this concludes June's blog. See you next time!
