Our Life

I don't know where the year has gone or how it is already December...but here we are. We've already had snow a few times and temperatures below freezing.


Here's one final picture of 'true fall' before we get into any winter pictures and activities. We had some fun cleaning up the leaves and of course, jumping into them!


Emilia is excited to start 'walking' and LOVES to use her walker to move from one side of the family room to the other. She is so proud of herself and smiles from ear to ear as she walks.


We recently went out to a new tree farm to find the perfect family Christmas tree. We enjoyed the wagon ride, the walk through the fields and the sleigh, by the animals.

We met up with Santa Clause. None of the kids wanted to go anywhere near him...Emi was sleeping, so she got to snooze a little in Santa's arms (little did she know...!), while we had to convince Logan to at least give Santa a high five.


To get a picture with faces, Dan and I had to join in (and Emi woke up wondering who this strange man with the long white beard was!)


Logan and I made gingerbread men (from scratch, this year!) and had fun decorating them with different colored icings. They tasted pretty yummy!


Emi is VERY curious about ornaments, boxes and bows...and by the way, did you notice, she is STANDING?!?!?! Yup, Emi now stands on her own and is pretty proud of herself (as are we). She is willing to show off her new found skill and loves to clap at her achievement, so if you see her standing, clap away!!! :)
