August (and some Sept)
Here we are now, in September...the air is getting cooler and we're trying to enjoy what's left of the summer, before fall is REALLY here. August was a good and FULL month. Here is some of what we did:

Logan started soccer with 'SoccerTots' and is having a ball (haha literally and figuratively!), doing the drills with his other 3.5 year old friends. Every Saturday morning he is excited to go to soccer.

We took the kids to Adirondack Animal Land and got to see some pretty cool animals. Logan's and my favorite: the giraffes! But we also got to see kangaroo, zebras, bears, monkeys, deer...we even got to feed some deer and other animals.
We recently went to our local apple orchard for Farm Fest. We picked a bag full of apples, watched the hay rides, visited the animals, tasted some honey, watched the bees make honey, and wandered through the hay maze. Emi even tried her first apple and LOVED it!

Emi is now 6 months old and is doing SO much. She loves eating 'real' food - I have been puree-ing her some veggies and fruits and she loves to try different things. She even insists on feeding herself - and grabs the spoon away from me to put into her mouth. Quite the independent little girl! She started crawling a few weeks ago and is able to get around, fairly quickly! She even pulls herself up to a standing position, from the couch, a toy, or one of our leg's. She babbles a lot and can say da-da!
Enjoy watching her first crawl...now she is ALL over the place and can move pretty quickly!
