July (and early August)
We've had a pretty busy past month! When its nice out, we take advantage!
Here, Emi enjoys 'swimming' at Aunt Tiff and Uncle Luke's!
Emi got her ears pierced! See how cute she is with little earrings! Mommy got her ears pierced when she was 3 months old, so she knew she'd be getting Emi's ears pierced when she was still young. Mommy's good friend from childhood came out and witnessed the event, along with Logan and her kiddos.
We had a nice visit with Mommy's friend Tara and her kiddos. We visited the Farmers Market (and ate the yummy, local foods), played outside, got Emi's ears pierced, decorated the driveway in sidewalk chalk, ate ice cream and played with the sprinkler ball!!!
We visited Glimmer Glass State Park and met up with Grandma and Papa, Uncle Brian, Aunt Renee, Luke, Maddy and Anna. We had fun! Emi tried some watermelon (she practically pried it out of Mommy's hand!) and watched the kids playing in the water, from her tent.
The 'bigger' kids played in the sand and made castles, complete with motes, dams and reservoirs. Logan got right to work!

So much activity makes one sleepy little girl!
Emi can now sit up on her own, and likes to practice, alot. She is also at the point where she can get up on her hands and knees, and she rocks back and forth. She can move backwards, and seems intent on figuring out how to crawl...it won't be long!
Logan and Emi wear their matching 'Big Brother/Little Sister' t-shirts, given to them by Aunt Sue. They LOVE each other. Look at how Emi holds on to her big brother, Logan's hand!
