July and August...

Oops, somehow I let 2 months get away from me. Of course since they were summer months, and we were out and about, I should be excused. :) Who wants to sit on the computer when its nice out!

Anyway here are some of the fun things we did these past 2 months:

We went to a local farm and went blueberry and raspberry picking. Logan ate a TON of blueberries as we picked and boy were they sweet!

There were animals at the farm too. Logan is obsessed with feeding animals hay and grass so thats exactly what he did. He loved watching his little buddy munch on the grass.

We also went to a sunflower farm, in CT, that raises money for the Make a Wish Foundation. Unfortunately the rain had hindered the flowers growth process and so there weren't many opened on the weekend that we went. But apparently the following weekend they were ALL opened and just gorgeous!

Logan decided that he wanted to be a big boy and so we got him a big boy bed. A car bed, which he calls his 'boat'. Go figure. :) He is doing very well in his new bed and loves bedtime now!

We had some good friends up all the way from Virginia. One of Mommy's friends from WAY back when (when Mommy was just a little older than Logan). It was a nice visit - very nice to catch up with everyone and the kids had a ball playing with each other.

We went to a 'Truck Day' in Saratoga one weekend. That was fun. There were buses, trucks, police cars, fire trucks, tractors, dump trucks, etc and the kids were able to pretend to drive the different vehicles, honk the horns and have fun. Logan loved 'driving'!

We went up to visit the family and spent some time on the lake. Logan loved going in for a swim and REALLY loved taking boat rides. So much, in fact, that we had to PRY him out of the boat for bedtime!

During the weekend at the lake, we had a 'cousin' reunion. Logan played croquet and went 'fishing' for seaweed. What a fun trip!
All in all it was a nice summer. We could have used some more warmer, sunny, typical sunny days, but we still managed to do quite a bit. Now that its getting cool, we're looking forward to some nice fall days and apple picking!!!
