October

Logan's now 21 months old and is learning to use his words more and more. He still loves to play with cars and trucks and pretend to drive (brrrrm brrrrm). He loves to sit in OUR car and push all of the buttons!

This past month we saw the start of fall. Our friends from France came and visited us and we went to a pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins, drank yummy fresh apple cider and enjoyed the foilage as we drove up to Saratoga. We even tasted Saratoga's mineral water. Blech! Later, we carved our pumpkins, played with the pumpkin guts and roasted seeds...participated in a Halloween parade and experienced Halloween. We also moved into a new house, which is proving to be the biggest experience so far.

Check out some of the pictures from the past month:

Logan loves to eat spaghetti squash. Can you tell?

Logan gets ready for school...and decides to bring his friends, along.

Logan was sick for a week last month. Not a fun time for any of us. The only thing he could keep down was a rice cake, here and there. Here is he chilling with his rice cakes.

Logan helped Mommy bake a cake for our French friend, Marie's birthday. Here, Logan enjoys licking the bowl, once the cake went into the oven. What a treat!

Logan and his new French friend, Agathe, enjoy the museum in Albany.

More in the museum. Look at those teeth!

And look at the wooly mammoth's!

Logan enjoyed riding the Carousel, this time!

Here's Logan at the pumpkin patch. There are so many pumpkins to look at!

Here, we enjoyed some of Saratoga's history and learned about the battles that took place, there.

And you can't go to the battlefields when there are leaves on the ground and not play with them! The kids had a blast throwing leaves in the air and kicking them around.

Here's Mommy and Logan with our French friends: Marie and Agathe. Mommy has known Marie since she was 15, when she did the french-exchange!

Logan participates in our old neighborhood's Halloween parade and even wins a prize for being so cute!

Here, we sport our pumpkins...one for each of us!

It took some convincing, but eventually, Logan put his hands in to help take out seeds.

And the finished product! What fun!

Logan helps us with the multitude of boxes we had for the big move. Thankfully Mommy's work gave her alot of boxes!

Trick-or-treat! We had so much fun trick-or-treating! We stopped off at our old house, first, and Logan was able to pick the candy he wanted (which wasn't so easy with his cow hooves!)

We were greeted by a cat at the next house! Of course, Logan just HAD to go in to meet that cat before we could trick-or-treat anywhere else!

At yet another house, Logan, again, was able to pick the candy. And what a big bag to pick from!

Here's Logan at the new house, waiting for trick-or-treaters, and *TRYING* to get into a lollipop (he ate that AFTER dinner).

Urs -- I live about 3 miles from that cannon! I can't believe I didn't even know you were there! Great pics!
